Prayer Tracker is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains exactly what the app accesses and why.
Prayer Tracker uses your device's front camera to detect your body position during prayer, by measuring changes in brightness as you move into and out of sajdah (prostration). This is how the app automatically counts your rak'ahs and sajdahs.
Prayer Tracker uses your device's location, with your permission, to calculate accurate local prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) so it can correctly label and organize your prayer history. Prayer times are calculated entirely on your device using standard astronomical formulas — your location is never sent to any server or third party. It's cached locally on your device so it doesn't need to be requested repeatedly.
Your prayer records (prayer name, date, duration, and rak'ah/sajdah counts) are stored locally on your device only. This history is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere. Prayer Tracker does not require or use any account, sign-in, or personal identifiers.
Prayer Tracker does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data with the developer, advertisers, analytics providers, or any other third party. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Prayer Tracker does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
